Job summary

HRTX is seeking a Business Analyst to join our hybrid team in Makati. You’ll lead workshops, elicit requirements, and draft clear user stories and acceptance criteria for core business apps.

You will map current-state processes, identify gaps and risks, and collaborate with IT PMs, Product Owners, and vendors to translate goals into actionable IT reports and applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Experience supporting business applications, preferably in the Financial Sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Oracle EBS, SQL/SSRS, and ERP solutions.

Work Setup: Hybrid 3x RTO | Mid Shift

Location: Makati City

What You’ll Do

• Gather & Specify Requirements: Lead workshops and elicitation sessions with SMEs and Business Leads to draft clear functional/non-functional user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.

• Model & Improve Processes: Map current-state business workflows to identify gaps, risks, and pain points, driving continuous process improvement across business units.

• Provide Technical & Application Support: Build deep, inside-out knowledge of core business applications to provide tier-level global support in line with SLAs.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with IT Project Managers, Product Owners, Development teams, and Third-Party Vendors to translate operational goals into actionable IT applications and reports.

• Ensure Quality & Release Readiness: Partner with QA teams to guide test plans, assist with user testing, and maintain data integrity and compliance across new application releases.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience gathering and analyzing business requirements (preferably within the Financial Sector) and supporting business applications.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.

• Technical Aptitude: Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, alongside tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Oracle EBS, SQL/SSRS, Business Objects, or ERP solutions.

• Core Competencies: Strong design thinking, excellent stakeholder management, risk tracking skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points (Certifications & Skills)

• CCBA (Certificate of Capability in Business Analysis) or equivalent BA certification.

• Experience coaching or mentoring junior BAs.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, data import, and presentation).
