Job description
Fabrication and Assembly
Fabricate, cut, bend, drill, punch, and assemble copper or aluminum busbars based on engineering drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, layouts, and work instructions accurately.
Assemble busbar systems for electrical panels, switchgear, control panels, and related electrical equipment.
Ensure proper alignment, spacing, insulation, and mounting of busbar components.
Quality Control
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of fabricated busbars and assemblies.
Verify measurements and specifications before final assembly and installation.
Identify defects, discrepancies, or non‑conforming materials and report them immediately to the supervisor.
Tools and Equipment Handling
Operate fabrication tools and machinery such as bending machines, cutting tools, punching machines, drills, grinders, and measuring instruments safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance and proper handling of tools and equipment.
Safety and Compliance
Follow all company safety policies, electrical safety procedures, and manufacturing standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Documentation and Reporting
Record production output, material usage, and work completion reports accurately.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and quality control personnel regarding production requirements and issues.
