Job summary
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain and repair building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC. You will support preventive maintenance and repairs across the facility's operations, ensuring reliability and energy efficiency.
The role belongs to the Engineering and Technical Services function and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and compliance measures.
Qualifications
- Licensed mechanical or electrical engineer with 2+ years in facilities or building systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Amenable to a 6-day work week including weekends/holidays.
- Can start ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC).
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures.
- Inspect and test building systems for proper function.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors on upgrades.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans for optimal performance.
- Conduct energy audits and implement energy-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with laws, codes, and regulations.
