Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Building Automation System Engineer in Taguig to oversee operation and maintenance of building automation systems, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.

You will support preventive maintenance, supervise contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements while delivering innovative solutions.

This role requires 4-5 years of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach to maintenance and service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• Strong judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Willingness to adopt new solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a facilities systems management program for electrical, mechanical, life, and safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Inspect systems to ensure operation within design capabilities.
• Coordinate work with outside contractors and supervise upgrades and maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and resourcefully manage repairs.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials.
• Record maintenance and repair activities.
• Complete required training and participate in safety programs.
• Share knowledge and mentor others within the team.
• Support CBRE RISE values and teamwork.
