Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible profile and assist guests during food and beverage service graciously.
• Ensure proper setup and presentation of your service area per company standards.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly, adhering to brand standards.
• Follow service sequences during meals, including clearing and cleaning tables.
• Create a positive dining experience by applying service standards and utilizing MedallionClass products and services.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, report issues, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Observe and identify guest preferences using MedallionClass technology and adjust service accordingly.
• Understand setup, product, and service expectations to prevent negative guest experiences.
• Support efforts to exceed service targets and key metrics.
• Learn about onboard products, itinerary, and points to assist guests effectively.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• At least one year of food and beverage experience and attendance at a recognized hotel or catering school.
• Knowledge of continental food and restaurant service standards.
• Knowledge of international beverage products.
• Preferably attended USPH or HACCP sanitation courses and understand sanitation regulations.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Conversational Japanese language skills.
• Strong guest service foundation and willingness to deliver outstanding service.
• Motivated to excel in all duties.
• Personable, with excellent social skills and a warm personality.
• Ability to surprise and delight guests throughout their cruise experience.
• Respectful and professional in a diverse cultural environment.
