• Strong knowledge in dent repair, painting process, color matching and refinishing
• Knowledgeable in workshop safety standards and procedures
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem solving and decision making ability
• Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient in basic reporting and documentation

Responsibilities

About the role

BRP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily body repair and paint operations, ensuring quality workmanship, on-time completion of units, compliance with safety standards, and proper supervision of technicians within the Body Repair & Paint section.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Body Repair & Paint (BRP) technicians
• Monitor repair progress and ensure jobs are completed within target turnaround time
• Inspect vehicles before, during, and after repair to ensure quality standards
• Assign work orders and manage technician workload efficiently
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials
• Implement company safety procedures and housekeeping standards
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Parts Department, and customers when needed
• Monitor paint mixing, color matching, and finishing quality
• Prepare reports on productivity, back jobs, and pending repairs
• Conduct coaching and performance monitoring of technicians

About you

• Graduate of Automotive Technology or any related technical course
