The role leads health programs, monitors production indicators, conducts farm visits, mentors Farm Managers and staff, analyzes data, and prepares technical reports; offers competitive pay, HMO, government benefits, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and licensed veterinarian required.
Experience in broiler production or farm operations preferred.
Knowledge of poultry disease prevention, vaccines, medications, biosecurity, and flock health management.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Willing to conduct regular farm visits and provide technical support to broiler operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement broiler flock health, vaccination, disease prevention, and biosecurity programs.
Monitor flock health, mortality, growth, feed and water consumption, and other production indicators.
Conduct farm visits and technical assessments, identify health and management concerns, and recommend interventions.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Farm Managers, Veterinarians, Supervisors, and farm personnel on broiler health and production practices.
Analyze farm performance and health data, prepare technical reports, and recommend improvements to optimize flock performance and broiler production.

Job Summary

The Broiler Technical Manager is responsible for providing technical and veterinary support to broiler farm operations to ensure optimal flock health, performance, and productivity. The role oversees poultry health programs, biosecurity, disease prevention, farm performance monitoring, and technical standards across broiler operations.

Qualifications

Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Licensed Veterinarian
Experience in broiler production, poultry health, or farm operations is preferred
Knowledgeable in poultry disease prevention, vaccination, medication, biosecurity, and flock health management
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Willing to conduct regular farm visits and provide technical support to broiler farm operations
