Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer to perform calculations, modeling and analysis for horizontal structures, with emphasis on railways and bridges. The candidate will work on projects spanning design, testing and maintenance, and collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure safe, cost-effective solutions.

Applicants should have 3+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with MIDAS/ETABS/STAAD, and knowledge of global design codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in horizontal structure design, preferably railways and bridges.
• Proficient with structural software for analysis and design.
• Familiar with local and international codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering calculations, modeling and analysis.
• Resolve problems of moderate to high complexity per project requirements.
• Ensure safety, constructability and cost effectiveness of designs.
• Understand applicable codes and specifications.
• Coordinate with Architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Report information to supervisor/manager.
