Job summary

SYSTRA, a leading engineering and consultancy group, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to perform structural calculations, modeling and analysis, and to lead a team of engineers on challenging projects worldwide.

The role requires knowledge of international codes and proficiency with MIDAS, ETABS, STAAD, SAFE, RAMCon, AutoCAD, Revit and related tools to ensure safe, cost-effective designs and successful collaboration with Architectural and MEPF disciplines.

Qualifications

• Senior Structural Engineer with experience in structural calculations, modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of local and international codes (NSCP, PD 1096, DPWH DGCS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, AASHTO, BS EN, etc.).
• Proven leadership and ability to manage a team of structural engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering calculations, modeling and analysis;
• Lead a team of structural engineers;
• Solve problems of moderate to high level complexity in accordance with project requirements;
• Ensure safety, constructability and cost effectiveness of the design;
• Understand applicable codes and specifications;

• Report necessary information to immediate supervisor/manager

• Perform structural engineering calculations, modeling and analysis;

Profile/Skills

Skills

• Knowledge of discipline local and international codes (NSCP, PD 1096, DPWH DGCS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, AASHTO, BS EN, etc.) or project specific standards, specifications, design criteria and construction methodology;
• Knowledgeable with MIDAS, ETABS, STAAD or equivalent structural software for analysis and design.
• Knowledgeable with SAFE or equivalent foundation design software.
• Knowledgeable with FEA and RAMCon or equivalent connection design software;
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or equivalent 3D viewer software;
• Advanced computer and software skills (structural analysis softwares and spreadsheets);
• Analytical and problem solving skills, and spatial ability; and
• Consistent initiative and leadership skills
