Job summary

Vikings Group of Companies in Gateway Mall, Quezon City, Metro Manila seeks a Branch Purchasing Officer. This full-time role oversees procurement, inventory control and cost-effective purchasing to support branch operations.

Responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, processing orders, monitoring stock levels and maintaining thorough procurement records. A strong background in purchasing and supplier management is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and inventory control systems.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to analyse data for cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage procurement strategies to optimise costs whilst maintaining quality standards
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms
• Process purchase orders and manage the procurement cycle from requisition through to delivery and payment
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure adequate stock availability
• Maintain detailed records of purchases, supplier information and inventory transactions
• Analyse purchasing data and generate reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Liaise with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and delivery timelines
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements in all procurement activities
• Manage supplier relationships and address any quality or delivery issues promptly
