Job summary

VG CONSTRUCTION INC is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist in Metro Manila to manage sourcing, supplier research, and procurement activities. You will compare pricing, quality, and terms to secure the best deals and support efficient operations.

You will negotiate terms, create and track purchase orders, monitor stock levels, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Strong communication, math, and Excel skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• College graduate with preferred degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or accounting.
• 1–3 years of purchasing/inventory/administrative experience is common but not strictly required.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Research: research potential suppliers and compare pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Negotiation: meet with suppliers to negotiate contract terms, pricing, and volume discounts.
• Ordering & Tracking: monitor stock levels, create purchase orders, and track inbound deliveries.
• Quality Control: inspect delivered goods to verify quality and correct quantities, reporting any damaged items immediately.
• Record Keeping: update internal databases with order details, supplier lists, invoices, and delivery schedules.
