Job summary

JRS Business Corporation in the Philippines seeks an experienced Branch/Area Manager to oversee daily branch operations, including shipments pick-up and delivery, ensuring timely dispatch and successful deliveries.

You will track KPIs like delivery success rate, drive branch performance to meet sales targets, supervise delivery riders, clerks and support staff, and coordinate recruitment and training with the Area Manager and HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven experience in area management and delivery.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of financial and operational management.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Willing to travel and be assigned to other areas.
• Willing to work on holidays due to operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations, including shipments pick-up and delivery, ensuring timely dispatch and successful deliveries.
• Track KPIs such as delivery success rate and drive branch performance to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
• Recommend branch repairs and upgrades including potential branch locations based on market demand.
• Supervise all branch personnel including delivery riders, counter clerks, and support team.
• Lead operations performance reviews in collaboration with the Area Manager
• Manage customer inquiries and complaints related to delivery and branch services, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Implement service improvement plans based on feedback and operational issues.
• Monitor and report all financial transactions including COD, POD remittances, branch sales, and revolving funds.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with company policy.
• Safeguard branch assets that include parcels, cash, and delivery vehicles.
• Coordinate recruitment, training and evaluations of the team with the Area Manager and HR.
• Responsible for ensuring the on-time return of POD to the concerned department for billing.
• Monitor inventory levels of equipment and supplies and coordinate replenishment to avoid running out of supplies or overstock.
• Performs other task that may be assigned by the Management.
