Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking an Assistant Business Manager to oversee overall branch operations and ensure efficient, accurate, and timely service delivery across all customer segments. The ABM will align with the Bank’s policies, controls, and regulatory standards.

The role includes managing end-to-end customer experience, leading branch staff, ensuring KYC compliance, and handling transaction approvals within authority limits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration or related fields.
• With 3-5 years of experience in branch banking operations.
• With experience in people management.

Responsibilities

• Approves branch transactions within authority limits and secures approval for transactions beyond scope.
• Reviews and approves OTC and auxiliary transactions (deposits, withdrawals, FX, remittances, checkbook requests, etc.).
• Manages end-to-end customer experience within the branch.
• Leads and supervises branch personnel; sets goals and provides continuous coaching.
• Oversees branch risk assessments, regulatory compliance, and control gaps.
