Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Manila is seeking a Branch Client Relations Officer to support the Branch Head by managing lobby operations and promoting bank products to grow sales and deepen client relationships.

The role requires experience in branch banking, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to identify client needs, generate leads, and guide customers to suitable deposit, loan, and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a four- or five-year degree.
• At least 3 years of branch banking experience as an officer, with 2 years in Marketing or Sales of bank products.
• Proficiency in computer and business applications.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.

Job description

The Branch Client Relations Officer (CRO) is responsible for the daily lobby management operations and serves as a key support to the Branch Head in driving business growth through active marketing, cross-selling, and upselling of the Bank's and its affiliates products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, credit cards, and bancassurance solutions. The role involves identifying client needs, generating sales leads, and promoting appropriate banking and insurance products to enhance client relationships and contribute to the branch's overall sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to the clients of the Bank by actively volunteering assistance
• Manage lobby traffic in the branch and directing / educating clients to use alternative electronic channels (i.e. the branch's digital machines)
• Approve and override transactions
• Ensure compliance to the Bank's Policies, procedures and requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year course / Bachelor's Degree Holder
• With at least three years branch banking experience as an officer (two years of which in Marketing (low counter) and/or Sales of bank products)
• Proficiency in computer and business applications
• Has effective oral and written communications skills
• Has good problem solving and numerical skills
• Has effective Presentation and Negotiation Skills
• Has leadership and effective interpersonal and people management skills
