Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle cash receipts from customers and employees.
• Apply receipts to the correct invoices and record daily cash receipts.
• Assist determine and monitor daily cash balances and petty cash custody.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Review receipts and invoices to ensure BIR compliance before payments.
• Administer petty cash fund and related controls.
• Manage withholding taxes from customers.
• Verify issued sales invoices and perform inventory counts.
• Secure annual business permits.

About the role

As Branch Accountant, you are responsible for effecting activities which in depositing cash received from customers and employees, recording of daily cash receipts, assist in the determination and monitoring of daily cash balance and custodianship of petty cash fund.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the Cash Receipts process
• Applies receipts to the appropriate invoice
• Prepares bank reconciliation
• Review official receipts, collection receipts and/or acknowledgement receipts from suppliers before releasing the check payments to ensure compliance with BIR's invoicing requirements
• Responsible for the administration of petty cash fund
• Receives creditable withholding taxes from customers
• Checks and verifies issued sales invoices
• Performs inventory count
• Secures annual business permits

About you

• Bachelor Graduate, preferably major in Accounting or Finance
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in Accounting or Treasury
• Has knowledge and/or experience on banking
• Good command in English - proficient in both oral and written communication
• Must have good interpersonal skills, good working attitude, hardworking and diligent
