CPS Asia Pacific is seeking a reliable Bookkeeping Specialist – US Accounts to support the financial operations of US-based businesses. You will maintain accurate accounting records, process transactions, and help with month-end closes from our Ortigas, Pasig City location.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or Xero, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while delivering accurate reporting to US-based clients.
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist – US Accounts to support the financial operations of US-based businesses. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, performing account reconciliations, monitoring receivables and payables, and supporting regular financial reporting.
The ideal candidate has practical bookkeeping experience, a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, and hands‑on knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or Xero. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and the ability to work independently are essential for this position.
Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for assigned US‑based accounts.
Record, classify, and organize financial transactions in accordance with established accounting procedures.
Ensure financial records are properly updated and supported by relevant documentation.
Review account activity and investigate discrepancies or unusual entries.
Perform regular bank and account reconciliations and resolve identified variances.
Review transactions for proper classification, completeness, and accuracy.
Monitor account balances and ensure financial information is consistently updated.
Assist with month‑end closing activities and related account reviews.
Process and monitor Accounts Payable (AP) transactions.
Track Accounts Receivable (AR) activity and maintain accurate customer records.
Assist in monitoring outstanding balances and follow up on discrepancies when necessary.
Maintain supporting documentation for AP and AR transactions.
Prepare routine financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
Assist with the preparation of financial information required by internal teams or US‑based clients.
Maintain organized digital accounting records and ensure documents can be easily retrieved when needed.
Use Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms to review, organize, and analyze financial information.
Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and US‑based clients regarding accounting and bookkeeping concerns.
Clarify discrepancies or missing information and coordinate with the appropriate parties for resolution.
Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and client information.
Perform other accounting and bookkeeping activities as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Previous experience supporting US‑based clients or businesses is highly preferred.
Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or Xero.
Good understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals, account reconciliation, AP/AR processes, and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting or financial management tools.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work independently.
Comfortable working with confidential financial information.
Willing to work onsite on a night shift schedule in Ortigas, Pasig City.
ASAP availability is highly preferred.
