Bookkeeper (Remote)

And we’re pooling candidates for a Bookkeeper role with a background in the construction industry!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in accounting software
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports for management review
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Track invoices, expenses, and payments to ensure timely collections and disbursements
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and construction industry regulations
• Assist in preparing documents for tax filings and audits
• Coordinate with project managers to track costs and profitability for construction projects
• Perform other finance-related tasks as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• At least 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Familiarity with the construction industry and job costing is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Strong English communication skills
• High proficiency in reviewing financial documents
• Clear and professional documentation of financial transactions
• Effective communication with clients and team members
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of cloud-based accounting tools

Salary Package (with HMO)

• Entry Level (1-3 years of experience): Up to PHP 39,500
• Intermediate Level (3-5 years of experience): Up to PHP 45,000
• Expert Level (5+ years of experience): Up to PHP 53,000

Salary range: $665-$970 USD/month
