Globaltize is seeking an experienced Accounting & Financial Operations Specialist to manage bookkeeping and financial reporting for construction projects. The role collaborates with ownership to drive profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency.

You will oversee QuickBooks Online, project costing, and integration with Housecall Pro, while coordinating with external tax professionals. This is a full-time remote role with a Monday–Friday EST schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping, financial analysis, and financial operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost tracking, job costing, and project margin analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to analyze cash flow, develop budgets, and recommend improvements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage QuickBooks Online transactions, categorization, and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, vendor bills, and customer invoices.
• Track construction project costs (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors).
• Prepare Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports.
• Analyze project profitability to identify margin improvements and savings.
• Coordinate QuickBooks Online with Housecall Pro and work with external tax professionals.

Overview

Are you an experienced bookkeeper with strong knowledge of construction financial operations?

We are partnering with a construction company to find an experienced Accounting & Financial Operations Specialist. This role involves managing bookkeeping, overseeing financial records, and providing strategic financial insights into project profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency. The position works directly with company ownership to support long-term business health.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain QuickBooks Online, including transaction recording, categorization, and account reconciliation.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor bills, and customer invoices.
• Track construction project costs including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
• Prepare financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports.
• Analyze individual project profitability to identify margin improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with the integration between QuickBooks Online and Housecall Pro while coordinating with external tax professionals.

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, financial analysis, and financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry cost tracking, job costing, and project margin analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and general financial reporting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze cash flow, develop budgets, and recommend financial operational improvements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills when handling financial records.
• Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Experience utilizing Housecall Pro for field service management and accounting integration.
• Background working with general contractors or trade subcontractors in construction operations.
