Job summary

YML Group is seeking an accounting professional to deliver high-quality financial support and client service from Fairview, Quezon City.

You will work with the Team Manager, handle inquiries, reconcile accounts, prepare reports, and help ensure compliance with Australian and local payroll and tax requirements. Onsite initially, with hybrid option after six months (2 days weekly). Immediate start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Financial Management.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• With client facing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud accounting tools (Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) preferred.
• Experience with Australian accounting/bookkeeping is an advantage.

About the Role

Working closely with the Team Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service while ensuring accurate and timely financial support.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Handle client inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and care

• Maintain clear, timely, and effective communication with clients

• Build strong client relationships and deliver an excellent client experience

• Participate in client meetings and prepare detailed file notes

• Resolve client concerns efficiently and professionally

• Ensure compliance with lodgement requirements such as: PAYG withholding, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, FBT, BAS, and IAS

• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting

• Manage client accounts and provide financial support

• Prepare financial reports and provide insights for decision-making

• Identify opportunities to improve client processes and efficiency

• Collaborate effectively with team members

• Take initiative in communicating with clients when the Supervisor is unavailable

• Willing to work onsite - Fairview, Quezon City. Hybrid after 6 months. (2x per week onsite)

• Willing to start immediately

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Financial Management

• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience

• With client facing experience (preferred)

• Familiarity with cloud accounting tools (Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, etc.) preferred

• Experience with Australian accounting/bookkeeping is an advantage

• BPO experience is a plus

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, data management, shortcuts)

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
