Job summary

YML Group Outsource Manila Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented finance professional to support Australian SMSF accounting activities. You will enter and update client data, assist in finalising SMSF accounts and audits, and liaise with auditors and clients to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. A hybrid setup is offered after probation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, banking or commerce.
• Preferably Australian accounting/SMSF experience; familiarity with Class Super preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update client data in the system.
• Assist in finalising SMSF accounts and audit files.
• Liaise with external auditors and clients as required.
• Prepare audit files and send to auditors for review.
• Perform daily reconciliation tasks and handle document storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in entering/updating client data onto Class
• Assist in finalizing SMSF accounts
• Liaise with external auditor on concerns and queries required to finalise the audit
• Liaise directly with the clients when required
• Prepare Audit Files and send to the auditor
• Track and Lodge Quarterly IAS
• Prepare and send the BASs for approval
• Download documents required for cash reconciliation and Audit. Ex. Dividends, Bank Statements, Insurance etc.
• Send documents to client via Dropbox and if required through Email as well.
• Communicate the correspondence that requires action to the team or the client.
• Communicate directly with ATO wherever required
• Process daily reconciliation in Class and raise queries if necessary.
• Saving of documents in FYI.
• Assist in preparation of SMSF yearly engagement letters.
• Assist in monitoring and updating of Super Solutions dashboard.
• Assist in invoicing of SMSF compliance fee in Xero.

About the Candidate:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Commerce or equivalent.
• Preferably with experience in Australian accounting and SMSF industry with knowledge in Class Super Software but fresh Graduates are welcome
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Capability to work independently and with the team.
• Strong client service and the ability to build professional relationship with clients.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow established processes and learn new systems quickly.
