Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting, or a Law degree with an interest in insolvency
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience supporting Australian clients or within an Australian accounting environment
- Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- CPA qualification or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of receipt authorities, payment authorities, day-one investigation letters, and statutory forms.
- Conduct investigations on assigned engagements.
- Assist with the continued trading operations of a business.
- Conduct stocktakes of company goods.
- Prepare reports for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
- Assist with the preparation of letters of demand.
- Prepare reports containing statutory information for creditors and other stakeholders.
- Draft correspondence and serve as the main point of contact for creditors, employees, directors, and other stakeholders on engagements.
- Assist in realising the assets of companies or individuals.
- Analyse company financial information.
