Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Prepare consolidation workpapers, cash flow statements, and schedules.
• Manage timelines and information flow to meet deadlines.
• Identify and resolve technical accounting issues.
• Ensure engagements are completed on time and within budget.
• Liaise with audit teams for assigned clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting
• Completed CPA or equivalent qualification, or nearing completion

Demonstrated Experience and Attributes

• 1-2 years of experience in a financial reporting role
• Strong working knowledge and application of IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Prepare consolidation workpapers, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules.
• Manage financial statement completion timelines and coordinate information flow to meet deadlines.
• Identify and resolve technical accounting and financial reporting issues.
• Ensure each engagement is completed to a high-quality standard, within budget, and on time.
• Liaise with audit teams acting as auditors for assigned clients.
• Work closely with managers on engagement timelines and client or audit communications.
