Job summary

Six Eleven Philippines BPO Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant with a construction accounting background. The role focuses on job costing, WIP tracking, and accurate monthly closes, coordinating with a CPA and internal teams.

The candidate will manage AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and prepare cash flow and project budgets, while supporting forecasting and budgeting efforts. Onsite work preferred, with overlap to U.S. Eastern hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in construction or cost accounting.
• Prior experience with job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion methods.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks; knowledge of Xero and PM systems is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects with accuracy.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong bookkeeping or cost accounting background who understands construction accounting, job costing, WIP tracking, and project billing. You’ll work closely with the internal team and the company’s outside CPA to keep financial records accurate and up to date.

What You’ll Do

• Manage job costing, WIP tracking, and monthly close


• Handle AP/AR, payroll, and bank/credit-card reconciliations


• Prepare financial reports, cash-flow reports, and project budgets


• Manage progress billing and AIA-style draw requests


• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and the company’s outside CPA


• Support forecasting and budget-versus-actual reporting

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a local or international company.


• Previous experience in construction accounting, cost accounting, or a closely related field


• Working knowledge of job costing, percentage-of-completion accounting, and WIP schedules


• Experience with QuickBooks is preferred


• Familiarity with Xero and construction-related accounting/project management systems is a plus


• Strong written and verbal English communication skills


• Able to manage multiple projects and financial tasks with accuracy


• Willing to work with some overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours


• Willing to work fulltime onsite (Mabini, Ecoland or other 611 sites)
