Job summary

ENGIE Services (Philippines) is seeking a Sr. technician/BMS Operator to supervise and ensure compliant operation and maintenance of infrastructure and utilities. Responsibilities include managing the BMS, responding to alarms, notifying management, and initiating corrective actions.

The role entails routine checks, software upgrades, monitoring field devices, troubleshooting faults, and maintaining documentation to support a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Instrumentation & Control technology graduate with experience in operating a highly automated building facility.
• Certification/license for HVAC or electrical trades is required.
• Related training in operating SavicNET FX BMS is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SavicNet FX BMS for HVAC, lighting, security, and power systems.
• Perform routine checks and update BMS software as provided by the manufacturer.
• Monitor and verify operation of BMS field devices.
• Troubleshoot BMS faults and develop repair solutions.
• Adjust BMS settings to meet changing conditions such as load and environmental needs.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC, power generation, LV switchgear, and UPS systems.
• Record maintenance data and generate reports as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure compliance and a safe workplace.

About the role

The Sr. technician/BMS Operator provides supervision and ensures compliance operation and maintenance of infrastructure and utilities through inspections and preventive/corrective maintenance. Concurrent duties include managing the BMS, responding to alarms, notifying appropriate management personnel, and initiating corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Operates and maintains SavicNet FX Building Management System (BMS) for proper function and monitors against approved benchmarks to include HVAC, Lighting, Security, Fire Suppression, Power Generation, Plumbing, and Electrical
• Performs routine checks and upgrades software as provided by the Manufacturer to ensure optimal functioning of the BMS system
• Monitors and verifies operation of all BMS field devices
• Troubleshoots BMS system faults and develops repair solutions
• Adjusts BMS settings and parameters to meet changing conditions, i.e., Load, Environmental, Customer needs, etc.
• Inspects, maintains, and repairs HVAC, Power Generation, Low-Voltage Electrical Switchgear, and UPS systems
• Records maintenance data and generates reports as needed
• Provides technical/operational guidance to ensure compliance
• Maintains documentation for all malfunctions, repairs, maintenance, or changes to systems and/or equipment
• Provides a safe and secure workplace

Job Qualifications

• Instrumentation & Control technology Graduate with relevant years' experience in operating a highly automated building facility
• Industry and Trade certification/License required for HVAC or Electrical Trades
• Related or specific training in the operation of SavicNET FX Building Management System required
