Job summary

Flexiown Mobile Technologics Corporation is seeking an Accounting Officer in the Philippines to manage daily accounting activities, tax compliance, payroll-related accounting, and coordination with government agencies and external professionals. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 2–3 years of Philippine accounting experience, and strong knowledge of BIR rules.

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and meticulous, independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a Philippine company.
• Strong working knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR compliance.
• Experience preparing and filing BIR tax returns and other government-mandated reports.
• Knowledge of withholding tax, EWT, VAT/non-VAT transactions, BIR Form 2307, payroll taxation, and other applicable tax requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of accounting and compliance responsibilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file required BIR tax returns and reports
• Monitor and ensure timely compliance with BIR filing and payment deadlines
• Handle withholding tax requirements, including Expanded Withholding Tax (EWT) and Withholding Tax on Compensation
• Prepare and/or coordinate the issuance of BIR Form 2307 for applicable transactions
• Maintain proper records of Certificates of Registration, tax returns, payment confirmations, and other BIR documents
• Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, collections, and other business transactions
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor company bank transactions
• Assist in the preparation and checking of payroll
• Prepare periodic accounting and financial reports for management

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
