Job summary

DATEM Incorporated is seeking a BIM Specialist to lead cross-disciplinary modeling efforts for architectural, structural, and MEP projects in the Philippines. You will mentor junior modellers, maintain BIM standards, and ensure document accuracy in a dynamic project environment.

The role requires extensive experience with Revit and Navisworks, strong data organization, and the ability to resolve clashes and coordinate design changes across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–7 years of work experience using BIM related software.
• Experience must specifically include proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.
• Fluency in 3D layout and design conventions and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update the Submittal Registry according to the Project Execution Schedule.
• Model accurately architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Develop and implement BIM standards and procedures for projects.
• Lead modeling efforts and mentor junior modellers to deliver project outputs.
• Ensure construction document accuracy based on BIM modeling across disciplines.
• Organize and manage project data within the BIM environment.
• Perform initial and formal clash analysis and document RFIs.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and update the Submittal Registry according to the Project Execution Schedule.




• Ensuring accurate and detailed modeling of architectural, structural, and MEP system.




• Developing and implementing BIM standards and procedures for projects.




• Lead modeling efforts on project working with junior level modelers to complete deliverables.




• Must have demonstrable experience leading and managing junior modelling teams to deliver project outcomes.




• Ensure construction document accuracy based on discipline BIM modeling.




• Organizing and managing project data within the BIM environment.




• Conduct initial clash analysis.




• Perform clash analysis & formalize to Request for Information (RFI).




• Calibrate the model based on recent developments within the project.




• Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines' design changes and model challenges.




• Able to handle all disciplines within the employment contract duration.




• Able to handle all disciplines within the employment contract duration.




• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility throughout the project lifecycle.




• Reports discrepancies or design issues between the architectural, structural, and MEPFS plans to the Project Manager.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:

Educational Attainment:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture/Civil Engineering




• Finished prescribed BIM Training Program/Certificate (Architectural, Structural and MEP)

Work Experience:

• Minimum 4-7 years' work experience using BIM related software.




• Experience must specifically include proficiency in Revit and Navisworks software platforms.

Technical Competencies and Skills required:

• Knowledgeable of basic construction




• Knowledge of drafting conventions and standards.




• Fluency on current Revit Software, Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Design Review and working knowledge of 3D layout and design.




• Fluency in reading 2d plans, electronically or hardcopy.




• Ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams and communication.




• Continuous learning mindset to stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and techniques.
