Job summary

Samsung C&T Philippines, Corp. is hiring a BIM Modeler (Revit) on a contract basis at their BGC, Taguig site. The role focuses on turning 2D drawings into accurate 3D BIM models to support quantity estimation and project coordination.

The candidate will develop and maintain Revit models, produce BIM deliverables, and assist in model coordination with HQ BIM teams for local and overseas projects. Fluency in English is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years in construction with at least 1 year in BIM modeling.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and strong English communication is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit models per project requirements and BIM standards.
• Translate 2D drawings into 3D BIM data to support estimates and coordination.
• Produce plan, elevation, section, detail, and 3D deliverables from BIM models.
• Extract BIM data and quantities to support tendering and project delivery.
• Assist in model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and BIM tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and BIM coordinators to ensure deliverables quality.

Job Description

The BIM Modeler (Revit) focuses on the hands-on production of BIM models and data. Under the guidance of the BIM Coordinator and HQ BIM Team, this role transforms 2D drawings into 3D BIM data to support precise quantity estimation and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit models in accordance with project requirements, BIM standards, and delivery schedules.
• Create and update BIM model elements based on design revisions, coordination feedback, RFIs, and project changes.
• Produce model-based deliverables, including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and 3D views.
• Extract and validate BIM data and quantities and 2D production to support tendering and project delivery requirements.
• Assist in model coordination, clash detection, and issue resolution using Navisworks and other BIM platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, BIM Coordinators, and project teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of BIM deliverables.
• Ensure BIM models comply with company standards, project requirements, and quality control procedures.
• Support HQ BIM teams in delivering BIM services for local and overseas projects.

Qualification and Experience

Technical Skills

• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Autodesk Revit for BIM modeling and project delivery support.
• Language: Fluency in English (written/verbal) is mandatory for high-level technical negotiations and reporting.

Education

• Degree, Diploma, or Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Formally trained in BIM (Diploma or Training Certification) is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 1 years in BIM modeling and coordination.
• Experience or familiarity with the modeling of civil infrastructure projects, including tunnels, bridges, roads, railways, and utility structures, will be an advantage.
