Job summary

Samsung C&T Corporation Engineering & Construction Group in the Philippines is seeking a hands-on BIM Modeler (Civil 3D) to produce BIM models under the guidance of the BIM Coordinator and HQ BIM Team. You will develop Civil 3D models and support BIM implementation.

Main responsibilities include creating and maintaining Civil 3D models, updating models for design changes, extracting quantity take-offs, and supporting HQ BIM teams for local and overseas projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; BIM training/certification is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in construction with 1 year in BIM modeling/coordination.
• Experience with civil infrastructure modeling (tunnels, bridges, roads, railways, utilities) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Civil 3D models in line with project requirements, BIM standards, and delivery schedules.
• Develop and modify civil infrastructure model elements, including alignments, profiles, corridors, surfaces, grading, utilities, and related components.
• Update BIM models to reflect design revisions, coordination outcomes, value engineering proposals, and other project changes.
• Extract and validate quantity take-offs (QTO) and 2D production from BIM models to support tendering, estimating, and project delivery activities.
• Support HQ BIM teams in the delivery of BIM services for local and overseas projects.
• Ensure BIM models and deliverables comply with company BIM standards, project requirements, and quality control procedures.

The BIM Modeler (Civil 3D) focuses on the hands-on production of BIM models and data. WorkingundertheguidanceoftheBIMCoordinatorandHQBIMTeam, the role develops Civil 3D models and supports BIM implementation through quantity take-offs and 2D production.

Qualification and Experience

Technical Skills

• Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutodeskCivil3D for BIM modeling and project delivery support, with working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks preferred.
• Language : Fluency in English (written/verbal) is mandatory for high-level technical negotiations and reporting.

Education

• Degree, Diploma, or Higher Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Formally trained in BIM (Diploma or Training Certification) is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 1 years in BIM modeling and coordination.
• Experience or familiarity with the modeling of civil infrastructure projects, including tunnels, bridges, roads, railways, and utility structures, will be an advantage.
