Job summary

ECAS Consultants Philippines Inc. is seeking a BIM Modeler for a full-time role based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. You will create, maintain, and coordinate Building Information Models for civil and structural projects supporting Singapore teams.

Responsibilities include producing 2D/3D drawings, performing clash detection, and ensuring BIM standards and documentation across project phases.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in civil/architectural drafting or related field.
• 2-3 years of professional BIM modeling experience.
• Proficiency in BIM software and reading of drawings.
• Experience with clash detection and multi-discipline coordination.
• Ability to produce 2D/3D drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

About the role

ECAS Consultants Philippines Inc. is seeking a BIM Modeler to join our team in a full-time capacity. Based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila, this position plays a crucial role in our engineering drafting operations, working on civil and structural projects in Singapore, and in support of our Singapore-based Engineering Team.

As a BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining Building Information Models that serve as the foundation for our engineering projects. This role is essential to ensuring that our designs are accurate, coordinated, and ready for construction, making you a key contributor to the success of our engineering initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Create and develop detailed Building Information Models (BIM) using industry-standard software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar platforms
• Coordinate and integrate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) models to ensure consistency across all design disciplines
• Produce accurate 2D drawings, 3D visualisations, and construction documentation from BIM models
• Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify and rectify conflicts between building systems before construction begins
• Maintain BIM standards, protocols, and naming conventions across all project deliverables
• Collaborate with engineers and other design team members to incorporate feedback and design modifications into models
• Prepare BIM for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and schedule planning
• Document and manage model revisions, ensuring version control and traceability throughout project phases
• Support project teams with BIM presentations and coordination meetings
• Remain current with BIM technology, industry best practices, and emerging tools and workflows

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a BIM Modeler or in a similar BIM-focused role
• Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit or equivalent platforms; experience with multiple disciplines is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methodologies, and architectural standards
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings with precision and accuracy
• Experience with clash detection tools and coordination workflows
• Competency in 2D and 3D modelling techniques and visualisation methods
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance capabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to evolving project requirements
• Knowledge of MEP coordination and familiarity with construction sequencing is preferred
• Experience with BIM collaboration platforms and cloud-based project management tools is a plus
