You will coordinate the BIM team, prepare guidelines, and train staff in BIM tools to ensure project delivery aligns with client requirements. The role involves creating detailed BIM models, identifying clashes, maintaining model health, and supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect must be registered with the relevant licensing body.

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans Responsible for producing/reviewing in-depth plan review for all phases of development including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction document and Construction Administration for pipeline projects as directed by the HEAD/ BIM Manager.

• Understand the Level 2 BIM processes and workflows. Coordinate the BIM project delivery with a team of other BIM modellers etc. Assist BIM Team in preparing BIM Guidelines for project specific requirements. Assist BIM Manager in training of project personnel in the use of BIM tools. Assist BIM Manager with planning and scheduling, assist in cost estimating, issue change orders, notices, and revisions.

• Develop schematic and detailed level BIM models including interior and exterior architectural elements. Responsible as “Model Administrator” for assigned projectsresponsible for Architectural & Land Development discipline’s model health.Identify conflicts, incomplete or ambiguous design information. Create new library componentsand maintain Architectural BIM Library.

• Produce quantity reports per Client requirements. Develop the modelling schedule. Identify long lead items and integrate them into 4D simulationsDerive material quantities.Update as built and revised Building Information Model. Keep BIM revision log.

• Use Navis-work for Multi-Disciplinary Clash Detection.Identify model constructability issues and propose solutions.Attend and /or manage model coordination meetings and document project BIM meetings (write minutes). Coordinate models with internal and external stakeholders and Record coordination sign offs.

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination. Has the ability to coordinate multiple projects at one time. Aid the in-house project team and provides effective problem-solving in addressing project challenges by providing solutions that are consistent with the service philosophy of the company and the goals of the project.

• Must be able to thoroughly document site conditions and fulfill key tasks at the beginning of a project, such as acquiring available existing data, photographs, etc. Must be able to prepare RFAs & RFIs, meeting minutes, document site visits, and maintain project files.
