Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable (AR), Collections, or related function required.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Hands‑on experience performing Billing/AR activities with ability to provide operational coverage.
• Experience conducting quality evaluations, audits, and accuracy checks of billing-related work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and lead a team of direct reports to meet or exceed goals.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs and take action when targets are not met.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and coach team members and identify training opportunities.
• Manage performance, attendance, time-off, and HR matters within delegated authority.
• Promote an inclusive work environment aligned with company values and DEIB principles.
• Recognize and celebrate achievements through feedback and recognition.
• Monitor daily billing activities for compliance with bill-by and dispute-by requirements.
• Provide hands-on Billing activities and back-up for Billing Specialists during fluctuations or absence.
• Review outstanding billing items and prioritize to achieve timely financial outcomes.
• Serve as Billing SME and guidance on complex matters.
• Develop cross-coverage plans across all Billing functions.
• Assist with onboarding and training new Billing Specialists.
• Conduct quality evaluations and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify quality gaps and provide timely coaching to improve performance.
• Collaborate with QA to identify training needs.
• Review workflows and suggest process improvements to reduce errors.
• Support the team in maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to support business needs.
• Act as escalation point for team and customers on billing issues.
• Respond to emails and calls in a timely, professional manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient customer experiences.
• Communicate operational updates, issues, and opportunities to stakeholders.
