Responsibilities

• Leadandsupervisethemedicalbillingteam,providingguidance,support,andmentorshiptoensurehighperformanceandproductivity.

• Overseethetimelyandaccuratesubmissionofclaimstoinsurancecompanies,governmentpayers,andotherthird-partypayers.
• Monitorbillingperformancemetrcisandkeyperformanceindicators(KPIs)toidentifytrends,issues,andareasforimprovement.
• Collaboratewithcross-functionalteams,includingrevenuecyclemanagement,finance,andclinicaldepartments,toresolvebilling-relatedchallengesandpromoteoperationalexcellence.
• Stayabreastofchangesinhealthcareregulations,codingguidelines,andpayerpoliciestoensurecomplianceandmitigaterisks.
• Conductregularauditsandqualityassurancereviewstoensuretheintegrityandaccuracyofbillingdataanddocumentation.
• Preparecomprehensivereportsandpresentationsforseniormanagementtocommunicatebillingperformance,trends,andrecommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegreeinHealthcareAdministration,BusinessAdministration,orrelatedfieldrequired;Master'sdegreepreferred.
• Minimumof7yearsofprogressiveexperienceormoreinmedicalbilling,revenuecyclemanagement,orhealthcarefinance,withatleast5yearsormoreinamanagerialorleadershiprole.
• Proventrackrecordofimplementingprocessimprovementsandachievingmeasurableresultsinrevenuecycleoptimization.
• Strongleadershipandinterpersonalskills,withtheabilitytomotivateandempowerteammemberstoachieveorganizationalgoals.
• Excellentanalyticalskillsandattentiontodetail,withtheabilitytoanalyzecomplexdataandmakedata-drivendecisions.
