Job summary

StormGeo is seeking a Billing Specialist based in the Philippines to support finance operations across APAC. The role handles processing and reviewing high-volume monthly invoices for multiple subsidiaries, maintaining customer accounts, and resolving billing discrepancies with clients and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 1–2 years in accounting/treasury, and proficiency in MS Excel and NetSuite ERP. Hybrid work model offered.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Billing Specialist based in the Philippines to support our finance operations across APAC.

The Billing Specialist manages high-volume monthly invoices across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring billing is accurate and sent to clients on time. The role also maintains customer account records, resolves billing queries and discrepancies, and works closely with clients, local offices, and internal teams to support smooth billing and accounts receivable processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Monthly invoice processing: Process a high volume of monthly invoices for subsidiaries, including SG Europe, SG Japan, SG Korea, and SG APAC.
• Invoice Calculation and Review: Calculate billing amounts using the internal system, review invoices for accuracy, identify and correct any discrepancies.
• Invoice Distribution: distribute invoices to clients via email, local offices, or NetSuite, as applicable.
• Customer Account Maintenance: Maintain, update, and reconcile customer accounts across all subsidiaries, including updating billing addresses, customer name changes, and contact information.
• Account Issue Resolution: investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies and other billing-related issues in a timely manner.
• Customer Service and Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and billing-related matters.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate with clients, subsidiary teams, and operation department via email and phone to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Accounts Receivable Monitoring and Follow-up: Assist with accounts receivable payment inquiries as needed.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.

Core Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting & treasury functions (experience with multi-entity operations is a plus).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems (NetSuite ERP experience is an advantage).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial data.
• Demonstrates the ability to efficiently manage a high volume of invoices, with a strong memory for client and vessel-specific billing requirements.
• Shows patience, consistency, and attention to detail when processing large volumes of monthly invoices.
