Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Billing Analyst in the Philippines to ensure accurate invoicing for sales orders and generate management reports. This 3–6 month contract will begin as a Billing Analyst with hands-on billing duties and progress toward a Junior Accountant role.

You'll handle payments, refunds, reconciliations, and data analysis using MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Looker Studio, collaborating with the finance team to resolve billing issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and articulation skills.
• Advanced spreadsheet management with MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with Looker Studio for charts and dashboards.
• At least 2 years of experience in B2B billing processes.
• Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
• Degree in Accounting or business-related field (open to other majors if candidate shows strong willingness to pursue Finance).

Responsibilities

• Process payments and issue refunds for customer sales and returns.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions processed.
• Create analytical reports for management team.
• Communicate with other team members regarding billing inquiries.
• Research and resolve billing issues and other related problems.
• Create and send invoices to customers.
• Initiate and establish procedures for billing tasks.
• Reconcile 20–25 cash accounts on a monthly basis.
• Assist Accounts Payable with bill entry, payment application, and reconciliation.
• Participate in the Company's annual financial audit as it relates to this role's areas of responsibilities.

About the Role:

Ubiquity is hiring for Billing Analystto ensure all sales orders are accurately billed for in a timely manner, creating sales reports, and analyzing sales trends to report to management. This role will start as a Billing Analyst for 3-6 months, which will include manual billing for charges.

What You’ll Do:

• Process payments and issue refunds for customer sales and returns
• Maintain accurate records of transactions processed
• Create analytical reports for management team
• Communicate with other team members regarding billing inquiries
• Research and resolve billing issues and other related problems
• Create and send invoices to customers
• Initiate and establish procedures for billing tasks

Responsibilities once converted to a Junior Accountant role include the following:

• Reconcile 20-25 cash accounts on a monthly basis
• Perform collections of outstanding Accounts Receivables
• Assist Accounts Payable team with bill entry, payment application, and reconciliation
• Participate in the Company's annual financial audit as it relates to this role's areas of responsibilities

What we’re looking for

• Strong communication and articulation skills
• Above-average spreadsheet management skills (e.g., logical formulas, Pivot tables) in both MS Excel and Google Sheets
• Familiarity with Looker Studio, including chart and dashboard creation.
• At least 2 years of experience in B2B billing processes
• Familiarity or experience with the NetSuite financial system is a plus
• A degree in Accounting or a business-related field (open to other majors if the candidate demonstrates a strong willingness to pursue a career in Finance) or relevant experience in this field.
