Job summary

S&P Trucking Services is seeking an Accounting Staff to join the Finance team in Iloilo City. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, billings, and ensure the accuracy of financial records, contributing to the integrity of the company’s finances.

Qualifications

• Certification or diploma in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.

Responsibilities

• Recording and processing financial transactions including invoices, receipts, and expense claims with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts and bank statements.
• Preparing and processing billings for payments.
• Preparing and processing accounts payable or accounts receivable documents.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Managing accounts documentation and proper filing of financial records.
• Performing data entry and verification tasks to ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Liaising with vendors, clients, and internal departments on financial queries.
• Supporting internal and external audit processes with required documentation.
