Job summary

RELX INC in Manila seeks a bilingual Customer Research & Analytics Analyst to perform web-based patent data research for technology-driven corporations and validate data by assigning patents to accurate commercial owners and verifying legal validity and remaining lifetime.

You will serve as the Japanese expert, conduct in-depth internet research for data quality, identify patent ownership, and ensure harmonized data updates across global teams while meeting productivity targets and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holder.
• JLPT N1 certification.
• Intermediate to advanced reading proficiency in Kanji and Hiragana.
• Experience in research, data quality and analysis (preferably as bilingual analyst).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams in multiple locations/time zones.
• Ability to summarize effectively for management.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
• Willingness to learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Process patent records/information primarily in Japanese.
• Act as Japanese expert answering Japanese-related questions for Harmonization Team.
• Conduct internet research to ensure data quality in patents globally, focusing on Japanese documents.
• Identify patent ownership through corporate structure, M&A, name changes, and transactions.
• Perform quality control to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Validate, update and verify customer information in the Harmonizer Tool.
• Ensure updates in customer databases meet quality standards and SLAs.
• Meet productivity targets and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Communicate task and project status to internal stakeholders and teams.
