Job summary

Symbos in Metro Manila is seeking a seasoned Proposal Development & Content Creation professional to lead end-to-end bid responses. You will craft strategies, win themes, and persuasive narratives to address client requirements and differentiate the company in competitive procurements.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Executive teams across time zones, ensuring governance, quality assurance, and compelling presentation materials.

Proposal Development & Content Creation

• Develop proposal strategies that align with client evaluation criteria and procurement requirements.
• Define win themes and create compelling proposal structures and response frameworks.
• Write, edit, and review executive summaries, solution narratives, presentations, and client responses.
• Translate complex operational, technical, and commercial information into clear, persuasive, customer-focused content.
• Ensure responses clearly address client requirements, demonstrate value, and differentiate Symbos from competitors.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Operations, Workforce Management, Quality, Technology, Transformation, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Executive teams.
• Facilitate information gathering from subject matter experts and convert inputs into cohesive proposal responses.
• Influence senior stakeholders and contributors across multiple business functions and time zones.
• Provide executive sponsors with risk assessments, pursuit updates, and recommendations to improve win probability.

Governance & Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain compliance matrices and proposal checklists.
• Manage review cycles, version control, approval processes, and submission governance.
• Oversee tender portals, clarifications, addenda, and final proposal lodgement.
• Drive proposal quality standards and ensure consistency across all submissions.

Presentation & Knowledge Management

• Develop shortlist presentations, site visit materials, negotiation packs, and executive briefing materials.
• Coordinate proposal design and formatting to ensure professional, visually compelling submissions.
• Build and maintain proposal libraries, templates, reusable content, case studies, credentials, and best-practice resources.
• Conduct post-bid reviews and capture lessons learned to continuously improve pursuit performance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, Journalism, or a related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Bid Management, Proposal Management, Pursuit Management, Tender Management, Commercial Writing, or a similar role.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end responses for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, tenders, and commercial proposals.
• Experience working within BPO, outsourcing, customer experience, technology, consulting, or professional services environments is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent bids while meeting strict deadlines.
• Experience engaging with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong document management and version-control skills.
• Experience with proposal management tools, content libraries, and collaboration platforms.
• Strong understanding of procurement, tender, and evaluation processes.
