Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy BI applications and dashboards. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to translate data needs into impactful visualizations.

You will work with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Dataverse, SharePoint, and connectors, along with Power BI, QlikView, QlikSense, or Tableau, to deliver actionable insights. Hybrid work arrangement applies, with on-site and remote responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
At least 5+ years of hands-on BI development experience.
Experience building BI apps using Power BI and other BI tools.
Hybrid work arrangement with on-site and remote work flexibility.
Shift to accommodate business needs.

Responsibilities

Partner with users, product owners & data engineers to design, develop and maintain BI solutions.
Design and develop Canvas App and Model-Driven Apps using Dataverse/SharePoint as backend.
Build custom connectors and leverage Dataverse for data modelling and management.
Translate business data needs into technical requirements and visualizations.
Develop, test and maintain BI dashboards with Power BI, QlikView, QlikSense, or Tableau.
Apply UI/UX best practices to create clear, actionable visuals.
Train junior team members and promote best practices for consistency.
Manage multiple BI projects, potentially using multiple BI tools.
