Location: Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Position: Data & AI & Risk – Data (Full-time, Hybrid).

Overview

Coins is the most established crypto brand in The Philippines and has gained the trust of more than 18 million users. Through the easy‑to‑use mobile app, users can buy and sell a variety of different cryptocurrencies and access a wide range of financial services. Coins is fully regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and is the first ever crypto‑based company in Asia to hold both Virtual Currency and Electronic Money Issuer licenses from a central bank.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build and improve the organization’s business intelligence platform: organize dashboards, queries, permissions, and data model.
• Build reporting pipelines for finance, operations, compliance and other departments.
• Analyze large data sets using a variety of database query and visualization tools.
• Work closely with Data Architects, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and SRE to deliver data products with quick time‑to‑market and optimal resources.
• Act as data evangelist for business stakeholders.
• Drive development of self‑service BI platform.
• Manage and review product requirements within the team and provide feedback to product management and other stakeholders.
• Leverage AI models to enhance data analytics, forecasting, and business intelligence reporting.
• Utilize AI‑powered automation for anomaly detection, trend analysis, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Required Skills and Experience

• Advanced data analysis & SQL.
• Data modelling for business use cases & self‑service.
• Administering BI platform, preferably with hundreds of reports & dashboards for 100 users.
• Basic experience in developing or fine‑tuning AI models for data analysis, forecasting, or anomaly detection.
• Good to have: Experience with Python, data warehouses, data lakes, ETL frameworks, and Apache Spark.
• Experience using AI‑powered analytics tools for data visualization, sentiment analysis, or predictive modelling is a plus.
