Job summary

Amazon Mexico's Supply Chain organization seeks a Sr BIE Manager to lead a data and AI strategy, guiding a team of 11 BI engineers across ten functional areas from network planning to last mile. You will own end-to-end analytical solutions, build AI-ready data platforms on AWS, mentor the team, and partner with central teams to scale GenAI across LATAM.

Qualifications

6+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience.
6+ years of delivering results managing a BI/analytics team.
5+ years of SQL experience.
5+ years of ETL management/data pipeline.
Experience with AWS products and services.
Experience with data visualization tools Tableau or Quicksight.
Experience with ML, data mining, statistics, NLP, or related fields.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Math, or related field.

Responsibilities

Drive team growth through mentoring, coaching, and career development.
Own the AI-ready data foundation powering GenAI/ML initiatives.
Deliver robust, scalable data solutions across all functional areas.
Lead data governance, single-source-of-truth definitions, quality standards, and SLA enforcement.
Collaborate with central teams to deploy AI solutions and align strategies.
Own ETL/big-data pipelines, data lakes, semantic layers, and dashboards.
Prioritize work with Product Management and stakeholders.
Establish best practices for data engineering and monitoring.
Reduce time-to-insight by increasing data availability and efficiency.
