Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect for Security in Mexico City to lead security engagements, shape technical strategy, and drive secure AI workloads at scale. You will build trusted relationships with CISOs and engineering teams, own security architecture from discovery through implementation, and collaborate with account teams to accelerate AWS Security adoption.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience securing cloud software services and designing for scalability, performance and reliability.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Security or related fields.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 5+ years of information security and compliance experience.
• +5 years of experience securing cloud software services and understanding design for scalability, performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain independent, trusted relationships with CISOs and security buying centers.
• Engage on board-level security concerns, including risk reduction and regulatory compliance.
• Position AWS as the strategic security platform partner with centralized visibility and policy enforcement.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of the AWS Security portfolio across Threat Detection, Data Protection, Governance, and Network and Application Protection.
• Collaborate with AMs in a dual-coverage model for security origination and account orchestration.
• Proactively identify, generate, and own new security opportunities; hunter role for AI security workloads.
• Drive competitive displacement against incumbent security providers leveraging AWS Security Hub.
