Job summary

Pamalican Resort, Inc. in Amanpulo invites an experienced Beverage Manager to oversee daily beverage operations, lead the bar team, and uphold high service standards in our ultra‑luxury resort on the private island of Amanpulo, Palawan.

You will develop beverage pricing strategies, maintain knowledge of beverage and wine menus and promotions, and provide guidance to guests and colleagues to ensure a refined guest experience.

Join our team in Amanpulo. Beverage Manager – Amanpulo Role Under the direction of the Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional bar experience within the resort by overseeing daily beverage operations and leading the bar team. This position is responsible for ensuring high service standards, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of beverage & wine menus and promotions, and providing guidance and support to both guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates the ability to build genuine and meaningful relationships with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders. Directs and oversees the sales and daily operations of the bar to ensure professional, refined, and exceptional guest experience. Leads the development, coaching, and training of service colleagues within the beverage division, ensuring they are equipped to deliver outstanding customer service. Oversees the achievement of departmental goals and ensures operational requirements are met effectively. Assists in the training, performance management, and continuous development of service colleagues. Supports the planning, coordination, and execution of guest functions and special events in accordance with Food & Beverage Department standards. Manages beverage inventory and cost controls to maintain targeted cost-of-sales objectives. Ensures effective stock control procedures, including ordering, receiving, storage, stock rotation, inventory monitoring, and the return of substandard products. Develops and implements beverage pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. Assists in supervising all bar operations and shifts in the absence of the Outlet Manager or Food & Beverage Manager.

Qualifications

• Has over 5 years of progressive experience in Beverage operations.
• Proven experience in a management role.
• Strong understanding of beverage operations, sales, and cost control.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and work simplification techniques.
• Familiarity with sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
