Job summary

Aman Group’s Amanpulo resort on Amanpulo Island is looking for an experienced Assistant Spa Manager to help lead the spa and wellness operation and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. You will assist the Spa and Wellness Manager with scheduling, SOPs, and financial responsibilities while guiding a team in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree, spa management credentials, superb English communication, and at least 3 years in spa roles with 15+ staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Spa Manager License from Ministry of Public Health is an advantage.
• Excellent computer skills are required.
• Minimum 3 years spa experience with at least 2 years in a spa assistant role with financial responsibilities and 15+ staff.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage spa and wellness operations in line with guest needs.
• Assist Spa and Wellness Manager with assignments and priorities.
• Support facility operations, revenue management, SOPs, and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee day‑to‑day spa and wellness activities.
• Keep up to date with spa industry trends and competition.
• Act as Spa and Wellness Manager in their absence.
• Prepare periodic senior management reports on spa activities and usage.
• Report weekly and monthly spa performance and staffing.
• Coach and develop team members.

Assistant Spa Manager – Amanpulo Role

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Assistant Spa Manager to assist the Spa and Wellness Manager in managing the entire spa and wellness operation to ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction in accordance with the policies, standards and guidelines established by the hotel or the corporate office.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for efficiently managing the operation of the spa and wellness, in accordance with the needs and demands of guests.
• Assist Spa and Wellness Manger assignments related to Spa and wellness.
• Assist Spa and Wellness Manger for facility operations, revenue management, standard operating procedures, and guest service satisfaction.
• Supervises the day-to-day operation of the Spa and Wellness.
• Respond in keeping up to date on spa industry trends, guest satisfaction and competition.
• Acting during absence of Spa and Wellness Manager.
• Prepares periodic reports for senior management on the activities and usage of the spa and wellness facilities.
• Present weekly and monthly reports on spa and wellness performance, both figures, activities and personnel.
• Coaches and supports all team members.
• Assists in the building of an efficient team of colleagues by striving to maintain standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Preferably a graduate of bachelor’s degree graduate or its equivalent.
• Certificate Spa Manager License from Ministry of Public Health an advantage.
• Excellent computer skill.
• Has a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the spa Minimum 2 years’ experience on spa assistant with financial responsibilities and more than 15 staffs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is required.
• Customer oriented, strong in spa administration, self-motivated and has enthusiasm.
