Job summary

AboitizPower Corporation is seeking an ESS Electrical Supervisor to lead on-site electrical execution, QA/QC, testing, and commissioning for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. You will coordinate with the Project Manager, EPC contractors, and cross-functional teams to deliver results and support community impact.

You will supervise EMS/DCS/SCADA deployments, enforce safety, and manage schedules, costs, and change orders to ensure successful energization of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or ECE.
• 5+ years in power generation, substation, or BESS project execution.
• 3+ years directly managing teams or site staff.
• 3+ years delivering capital projects from construction to testing/commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site electrical installation, testing, and commissioning of BESS components from NTP to energization.
• Enforce QA/QC standards, monitor workmanship, and manage PTW and safety procedures.
• Supervise EMS, DCS, and SCADA design, deployment, and testing for safe operation.
• Track milestones, manage material deliveries, review invoices and change orders, mitigate risks.
• Review drawings/proposals, resolve issues, issue NCRs, and consolidate progress reports.
• Provide supervision and guidance to field teams while promoting IMS guidelines.
