Job summary

AboitizPower seeks a Construction Lead in Lapu-Lapu City to work with the Project Manager and drive on-site construction for Energy Storage System projects. You will coordinate with cross‑functional teams, EPC contractors, and community stakeholders to deliver results, ensure safety, and maintain quality throughout the build.

This supervisory role requires 5+ years in power project execution with civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering, plus leadership experience guiding field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Professional engineering license required (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical).
• Minimum 5 years in power/energy storage project execution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end on-site construction from NTP to commissioning and commercial operation.
• Coordinate General Contractors and sub-contractors; align timelines with material delivery.
• Oversee QA/QC programs and testing procedures; ensure compliance with codes and specs.
• Manage budgets, change orders, and cost controls; optimize construction methods.
• Identify risks, manage RFIs/submittals, and provide status updates to leadership.
• Direct site supervisors and enforce IMS and safety programs.
