Qualifications

• 5+ years of merchandising, buying, or retail management experience.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis tools.
• Proven track record in product assortment and driving sales growth.
• In-depth knowledge of beauty trends, consumer behaviour, and retail market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Beauty, Business, Retail Management, or related field.
• Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute merchandising and category strategies aligned with sales, margin, inventory, and brand objectives.
• Analyze sales performance, sell-through, stock cover, inventory aging, product productivity, and category performance to identify opportunities and corrective actions.
• Develop sales forecasts and merchandise plans to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing overstock, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Manage the product lifecycle from new product introduction and launch through replenishment, markdown, phase-out, and discontinuation.
• Partner with brand principals and regional/global teams on product assortment, launch calendars, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Lead new product launches by coordinating assortment, quantity planning, pricing, stock readiness, launch timing, and execution.
• Develop pricing, promotion, markdown, and clearance strategies to improve sell-through and maximize gross margin.
• Collaborate with Marketing and CRM on promotional calendars, campaigns, and product launches.
• Work with Retail Operations to understand customer feedback and store requirements to improve sales conversion.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Planning to ensure timely product availability and stock movement.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to ensure updates are reflected in stores while maintaining brand guidelines.
• Act as merchandising liaison between brand principals and internal teams for consistent execution.
