Global Payments is seeking a BCP Specialist to join our Overhead team in the Philippines. You will develop basic BC/DR plans, assist with complex plans, and help minimize threats to assets.
You'll coordinate with asset management, change management, and recovery teams, while training staff in BC/DR policies and providing updates to senior leaders. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with 2 years of relevant BC/DR or IT/payments experience; certifications such as DRII/BCI are a bonus.

We’re looking for a BCP Specialist to join our ever evolving Overhead team and help shape the future of global commerce.
Develops Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) acumen through the development of basic BC/DR plans and assisting with the development of complex BC/DR plans to effectively minimize the impact of internal and/or external threats to the hard and soft assets of the organization. Assists with the implementation of BC/DR plans as directed. Executes Business Impact Analyses, Risk Assessments and other BC/DR projects and assists with mitigation efforts while interfacing with asset management and change management teams. Evaluates completed BC and DR exercises to ensure stated objectives are met to include issue identification/resolution and interdepartmental coordination during recovery exercises. Supports the coordination of alternative facilities for equipment, software, resources and data, to start production for business recovery (Hot Site). Hot Site tasks include contacting the site for access, coordinating access to the facility for team members, coordinating technical recovery of the systems, establishment and monitoring of conference lines, maintaining an event log throughout the recovery, and providing recovery updates to the Crisis Management Team. Trains recovery team members and the workforce on BC/DR policies and procedures. Provides supporting BC/DR information to senior leaders of the department, as directed. Participates in interactions with external clients, according to project requirements. Supports client consultation by providing follow-up research, supporting information and answers to questions.
