Job summary

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items.
• Certifications in bartending, barista or hospitality management are advantageous.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages using proper techniques and recipes
• Craft specialty coffee drinks and other barista beverages with precision and consistency
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe bar and beverage station at all times
• Take orders accurately and efficiently whilst providing knowledgeable recommendations to customers
• Build positive relationships with guests and ensure excellent customer service standards
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock requirements to management
• Comply with all health, safety and licensing regulations relevant to bar operations
• Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions accurately
• Work collaboratively with other team members to support service flow during peak periods
• Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards in accordance with company policy

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Bartender, Barista or in a similar bar and beverage service role
• Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques and coffee preparation methods
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Proficiency in operating bar equipment, espresso machines and point-of-sale systems
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in food and beverage service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining quality standards
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
• Relevant certifications in bartending, barista training or hospitality management are advantageous
