About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team at Hospitality Innovators, Inc. in Surigao City, Surigao del Norte. This is a full-time position where you will be the face of our café, crafting exceptional coffee beverages and providing outstanding customer service. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of beverage preparation and café operations. Your expertise and enthusiasm will directly contribute to the success of our hospitality business and the satisfaction of our valued customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos and other specialty coffee drinks with precision and consistency

• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders and other café equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and health and safety standards

• Take customer orders accurately and provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding beverages and menu items

• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work environment, including the café bar area, equipment and service stations

• Handle cash and digital payment transactions accurately and securely

• Stock and manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups and other supplies

• Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and building positive relationships with regular customers

• Follow company standards for beverage recipes, portion sizes and presentation to ensure consistency across all offerings

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak and quiet periods
