Job summary

JGQ GROUP OF COMPANIES is seeking a skilled Bartender/Barista to join our hospitality team in Davao. This full-time role combines bar and beverage operations, delivering quality drinks and memorable guest experiences.

You will craft cocktails and specialty coffees, maintain a clean workstation, and ensure exceptional service during peak periods. Prior bartending, barista, or beverage service experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in bartending, barista, or similar beverage service.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and coffee preparation.
• Excellent customer service with guest engagement.
• Proficiency with bar equipment, espresso machines and POS systems.
• Basic understanding of health and safety in F&B service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items.
• Certifications in bartending, barista or hospitality management are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with proper techniques.
• Craft specialty coffee drinks and barista beverages with precision.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe bar and beverage station.
• Take orders accurately and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with guests and ensure excellent service.
• Monitor inventory and communicate stock needs to management.
• Comply with health, safety and licensing regulations.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions.
• Collaborate with team to support service flow during peak periods.
• Maintain grooming and hygiene per company policy.
